Listing Policy

Where listing information comes from

We build unclaimed listings from public business information: state Department of Insurance licensee lookups in Georgia and Florida, the agency's own website, carrier find-an-agent pages, and trade association member lists. We do not copy listings from Google Maps or other directories. Every listing shows the date it was last updated.

What we publish

We publish business facts only: agency name, office address, main phone, website, and lines of business. We never publish individual producers' cell phones, personal email addresses, or photos. Logos appear only after an agency claims its listing and uploads its own.

Listing statuses

Unclaimed: built by eInsuranceNews from public sources and labeled Unclaimed; unclaimed listings never receive referrals, and visitors can contact the agency directly using its public phone and website.

Claimed: the agency has confirmed ownership and edits its own profile.

Verified: eInsuranceNews has confirmed the agency's license on the state Department of Insurance lookup; only Verified agencies receive referral requests.

Sponsored: Featured agencies pay for placement, and that placement is always labeled Sponsored.

We never label an unclaimed listing Verified, Member, or Partner.

How to claim a listing

Click Claim this listing on the agency's profile. We confirm ownership with a code sent to the business email on the agency's website, or a call to the listed main phone. After you submit your license numbers, we verify them on the state lookup and turn on the Verified badge. Claiming and Basic listings are free.

How to request removal

Every listing has a Request removal link. We honor removal requests within 2 business days and keep a record of each request so the listing is not re-added.

Ownership disclosure

eInsuranceNews is owned by members of the Dixon family, who also own Dixon Agency LLC and B. Dixon Risk Management. Both agencies may appear in this directory. They follow the same listing, verification, and routing rules as every other agency, and receive no preference in search results or referrals. Any paid placement they hold is labeled Sponsored like every other Featured listing.

How referrals work

When a visitor asks for help finding an agency, we match the request on state, ZIP or service area, and line of business, and send it only to claimed, Verified agencies. Paid tiers change profile features and Sponsored placement; they do not change who is eligible for a match. eInsuranceNews is not an insurance agency and does not sell, quote, or bind insurance.
